Fast food franchises are fun, but feed off of mass murder in factory slaughterhouses. We live in a disposable culture, with over-consumption, selfish politicians, prisons overflowing, contradictory foreign policy, trash television, massive pollution, pharmaceutical dependence, teenage angst. When we look back in history, it will be crystal clear that America is a culture spun way out of harmony with Mother Earth, but right now most of the population is happily oblivious. Well, happy may not be the best word. There is a deep dissatisfaction that is driving all this craziness, but like any addiction, it can never be filled this way.

For years, America has stood as a beacon of light and hope to the world, but it was also built upon the major atrocities like the genocide of the natives and the slavery of the Africans. America has always been and still is a beautiful dream, but it has a dark underside of power that needs to be addressed.

Not trying to be negative here. Most cultures also have their deep flaws and there are so many beautiful qualities about America. It's a model that certainly has been immensely valuable, but it's just not yet ready for export.

Born into this place called America, our job is to help it evolve. When Osama declared the need for a Holy War, he was pretty close to being right. America needs a shot of divinity. What Osama was mistaken about was in believing that murder is Holy. If the people of Islam feel a Holy War is needed, then bring it on! But if you're going to call it Holy, then reach in deep and show us what you've got! Love begets love. Holiness begets holiness. Where do we begin?

This war is pretty much over now as Baghdad has been seized. If our group continues, we will no longer have a social movement supporting our actions. We will stand alone - a group focused on bringing love and peace to a nation feeding its hurt with power. Do we have the answers? Can we bring the change? Only from the inside-out.
