Where
in the World is Peace?
Recent
world events have stirred a global uprising.
After
September 11th, people from all around the world came
together with a tremendous outpouring of love and compassion.
From that tragic day, it became clear like never before
that with common hearts, we are deeply connected as one
global family.
A
recent push for war brought on a second wave of solidarity.
From across the world, people united in historic numbers
in protest of mindsets and actions that were felt to be
selfish, dangerous, and outdated.
The
people of this world are uniting together.
It
is one thing to unite in protest AGAINST something unwanted,
but a new era of humanity and possibility is upon us and
the time is right to define it.
What
is this thing called Peace that so many demand? And where
in the world can it be found? The answer is simple and
profound. Peace, in its purest form, is found in the depth
of your own being, and can only be attained through genuine
sincerity.
As Gandhi said, "You must be the change you wish
to see in the world." If you want true peace in the
world, you must find true peace within. To personally
embody the change is the only real and lasting choice.
Inner
Peace Circle
In
the spirit of Love and Peace, let's do it! Let's get together
and bring a change. This isn't about any war. This is
about peace - something timeless. These recent events
just give us the courage to bring it on, baby! You are
invited to join us for an honest journey within. Come
meditate, come pray. You can be of service, bring candles,
or express yourself in any way that is most true to you.
You can participate as often or as little as you'd like,
but join us! And if not here physically, then wherever
you are.
Unlike
other gatherings, the success of this will not be based
on the numbers of participants, but by the love and sincerity
each person brings. Whether you are anti-war or pro-war,
come join us! George Bush, come on by! Saddam Hussein,
you too! We all benefit when any one of us seeks for true
peace within.
